Corey Consuegra was a four year baseball standout for the Hornets leading the team to two state championships, 1998 and 2000, during his decorated career. The shortstop/right handed pitcher was a two time All Met selection in 1999 and 2000. Consuegra rounded out his senior year 5-0 with a 1.20 ERA; also hitting .481 with 7 home runs, 23 RBI and 1.000 slugging percentage. Finalizing a stellar career on the field being named to the Crown All- Star game and to Team Maryland as shortstop. Corey also played for the Damascus Post 171 Legion Team. As a young player, Consuegra was selected to compete in the Junior Pan Am and World Baseball program in Chiba, Japan
