John T. Brown Athletic Director, DHS 1985-2003

My career at Damascus High began in 1984 and was assigned to serve as Athletic Director in 1985. From 1985 through 2003 DHS grew into a perennial powerhouse in many sports throughout the State of Maryland. The entire Damascus community became very excited and involved in DHS athletic programs. Credit goes to hard working coaches, dedicated student athletes, assistant athletic directors, and supportive parents for which I was blessed. As evidence of such, the following accomplishments from 1985-2003 are on record as follows:
